How do I know how big my chandelier should be?

To determine the best size of this lighting fixture, add the width and the length of the room in feet, then covert it to inches. If you are planning on installing it in your dining room, then take into account the size of the dining room table, as your chandelier should not overwhelm the table and room.

How low over the table should it hang?

The rule of thumb is if you have an eight foot ceiling, have 30 inches between the chandelier’s bottom and the table top.

What should I use to clean my chandelier?

Clean it with a very mild detergent and water. You don’t want to use chemicals or cleaning agents, as they will react with the pins and cause them to become brittle and tarnished.
