Energy Efficiency

People want to help save the environment and save some money while they are at it. So for 2015, we expect to see even more interest in energy efficient light bulbs and LED lighting. LED lights last twice as long as the standard compact fluorescent light bulbs, and they are great when you need light in a target direction. Plus, they are safer than other light bulbs out there because they do not emit heat.

Nowadays, people seem to be more interested in lighting and other accessories that are more unique looking. Mini chandeliers and pendant lighting are great ways to add your own unique style to your home without sacrificing functionality. This is also a great way to get some task lighting in your home. You can get the look and feel of bronze and other metals with metal-finished lighting. Here is a rundown of different types of lighting for your home that we carry here at The Light House.

You can light up the objects you want people to focus on while darkening objects or areas you don’t want them to focus on.
