Shipping Questions and Answers
Wondering how long it'll take to receive your order? In most cases, orders are shipped via UPS ground and arrive in 21-30 days. There are instances where some items will arrive from The Light House in a shorter amount of time. Larger lighting fixtures may require a common carrier (large truck), and could take anywhere from 3-60 days to come.
Can you send your purchase to an address besides your own? Absolutely! We may, however, add a drop shipping charge to your order. Unfortunately, we do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

Bathroom Lighting FAQ
Here are some of the most common questions we get about bathroom lighting:
How much wattage is needed to properly light my bathroom?
It depends heavily on the use and size of the area. Generally, 300 watts of incandescent lighting for every 50 sq. ft. of bathroom space is a good rule to follow.
My light fixture says its 100 watts maximum. Does that mean for each socket or the entire fixture?
It’s per socket.
Where should I place vanity lights?
If you want the best lighting, place them above and to either side of mirrors. Wall scones should be placed 60-66” from the floor and 36-40” apart.
What are the best types of lights for shower areas?
Recessed lighting is great for above your shower or bath, as they provide ample lighting for cleaning, shaving and reading shampoo and other bottles.
Do I really need ambient lighting?
Yes. Ambient lights will give the bathroom a warm glow, and block shadows from appear on your face that regular lighting can create.
